St. Theresa School has developed standards in line with the diocesan guidelines and the California State Standards. The science program utilizes various instructional methods to meet the individual learning styles and abilities of all students. Each grade level has written expectations for the physical, earth, and life areas of science, as well as for investigation and experimentation. Additional outcomes include problem solving, the use of the scientific method, a lifelong curiosity for science, and an appreciation for God's role in creation and our role as stewards of the creation.
