St. Theresa School has adopted the California State
Standards as the minimum standard for its language arts
curriculum. The program provides ambitious expectations
for all students, with modifications and interventions
for qualifying students. Every grade level has a
carefully developed set of language arts expectations.
These expectations are divided into nine areas:
literature, listening and speaking, composition,
grammar, mechanics, usage, language elements and
strategies, study and thinking skills, and written and
oral communication. |
