St. Theresa
Catholic School Arts Program utilizes the Lake Tahoe Elementary
Arts Program lead by EAP Coordinator, Gina Calderon-Stowell. Each grade level is
presented with a different art portfolio each quarter and explores
the history and artwork of different artist, relevant to a common
theme. After each class has reviewed a portfolio, art projects are
designed for the students based around the artist and artwork
discussed. Different mediums and techniques are explored in the
preparation of each art project. Saint Theresa School is fortunate to have several
parent volunteers with a passion for the arts who help with the
planning and presentation of this arts program. The unique creative
talents each volunteer is able to bring to our students, makes the
for a tremendous arts program at St. Theresa School. Near the end of the
school year the arts program culminates with the artwork students
have created, being presented on display in a Student Art Exhibition.
